All-Time High 135 Players on NBA Opening Night Rosters Have D-League Experience

An all-time high 135 players on NBA Opening Night rosters have NBA D-League experience, representing 30 percent of the league.

That number has more than doubled over the last six seasons. Twelve years ago, just fifteen players on NBA Opening Night rosters had NBA D-League experience.

For the third straight season, every NBA team has at least one NBA D-League alum on its roster. The Celtics, Heat and Pistons lead the league with eight former NBADLers on their rosters, while the Raptors have seven.
