NEW YORK, Jan. 26, 2015 – The ninth annual NBA Development League All-Star Game presented by Kumho Tire returns to NBA All-Star 2015 lineup on Sunday, Feb. 15, at 2:30 p.m. ET. The Prospects and Futures teams, made up of 20 top NBA D-League players, will take to the court at Barclays Center in Brooklyn in a game slated to air live on NBA TV.
Bakersfield Jam head coach Nate Bjorkgren and his staff will coach the Prospects team, while Maine Red Claws head coach Scott Morrison and his assistants will lead the Futures squad by way of their owning the best records in the Western and Eastern conferences, respectively.
In his first season in Bakersfield, Bjorkgren has led the Jam to the league’s best record (18-8) while capturing the inaugural NBA D-League Showcase Cup Championship and winning eight of its last nine games. The Red Claws have amassed a 17-8 record, including a 9-1 record during the month of December, under first-year head coach Morrison.
The 2015 NBA D-League Dream Factory presented by Boost Mobile tips off NBA D-League All-Star action when long-range specialists take to the court in the Boost Mobile Three-Point Contest at 2:00 p.m. ET. High-flying dunkers continue the Dream Factory program with the Boost Mobile Slam Dunk Competition taking place during the game’s halftime break.
“The NBA D-League is thrilled to be a part of NBA All-Star festivities for the ninth consecutive year,” said Malcolm Turner, NBA D-League President. “It’s exciting to bring the best and brightest young prospects in our league to Brooklyn to showcase their talents on basketball’s biggest stage.”

The 20 NBA D-League All-Stars and the Boost Mobile Slam Dunk Competition and Three-Point Contest participants will be announced at a later date.
